Major Problem Facing 85% of the population

Hello again, must say I appreciate all the feedback and people reading my articles each month means a lot to me it really does.

What I wanted to discuss this month is a major problem affecting some 85% of the population, that’s right 85%, so you’ll know someone affected that needs help. I find it fascinating that with such a problem, the world leaders, education, and business are not doing something about it .

This problem, therefore, affects just over 6billion people on this planet.

So there are approx 1.4 billion that could help and have the solution.

The worst thing about this issue is people don’t even know they are affected, it’s a hidden problem they walk around with on a daily basis. Turn to the person next to you, they are probably affected it’s that wide spread. So is there a solution? Who can help? Where is the campaign informing people of the condition? The issue is the government bodies, people in real power are unaware, even worse those that know decide to leave things just as they are. It’s about time something was done about this pandemic (of sorts).

What is this problem, disease, a defect affecting these unfortunate souls that we need to address?

Symptoms to look for ( some symptoms will be hard to detect), lack of creative thinking, lack of empathy, lack holistic view, not natural leaders, have good written skills, fit into the system easy, prefer tradition ideas opposed to entrepreneurial thinking. There are many more but that’s just an example.

I am hoping you worked out what am talking about, it’s people that are not on the dyslexic spectrum. The issue is because the majority of the population are affected by nondyslexia, all our systems, world leaders, education, are designed for the majority even though the majority are defective, lack the essential skills we need in the modern world.

I am hoping that the dyslexic population can see we have the ability to help these poor souls out, fill the gap they lack. Their learning difficulties to think holistically, or make links to things that are not at first obvious must be very frustrating.

Non-Dyslexia Effect

Just imagine if Walt Disney had been affected by non dyslexia, we would not have the amazing films and theme parks enjoyed by millions.

If Jamie Oliver had been affected, wow no”naked Chief” no “sugar campaign”

Jackie Stewart would never had the natural ability to drive at the highest level

Winston Churchill arguably one of the greatest leaders and military minds of our time, may not have defeated Hitler.

Jennifer Aniston may have been a bumbling wreck and not be performing in shows like “friends”

What about Albert Einstein? Imagine if he’d suffered from non-dyslexia.

Virgin brand and Richard Branson would be a boring company if he had been affected, it prob would never have existed

As for technology, imagine if Nokia had just kept producing more robust phones, Steve Jobs being affected would have resulted in potentially no smart phones, I know not worth thinking about.

They are a just example of how our world would have been affected by this terrible illness we call Nondyslexia.

Is there a Solution

Is there a cure that drug companies could develop, unfortunately not.

Can we train these people better – prob not.

Can we operate on them to release their dyslexic mind, I don’t think this is possible, sad I know.

The only hope we have is to make sure we get dyslexics try to fill the gap that currently exists, I know it’s asking a lot of only 15% of the population but be aware they can more than rising up to the challenge.

We could also help by changing some of the educational systems and business recruitment processes that are more focussed on dyslexic abilities, learning styles which might just rub off on the affected population in the Non dyslexic community.

We need to start acting as soon as possible and begin to discuss this problem openly in world organizations even at G8, European Council & The Houses of Parliament in the UK. I would not bother asking Donald Trump, as he’s not even helping the Climate change drive.

I know there will be a lot of dyslexics out there thinking this task is too great, all I ask, is you try to affect those nearest to you and create a ripple effect. Together we can develop the non-dyslexics to a certain level, I am aware they have learning difficulties that we find easy but we can at least develop them to a standard we are comfortable with.

We could consider some help groups bringing them together for support, headed up with a dyslexic person.

If you still reading am deadly serious, something has to change, just because the majority of people are non dyslexic does not mean we should have systems, governments, test and recruitment processes that favor the majority. It’s discrimination on a global scale.

So dyslexics rise up and help a poor soul today, make the world a more creative and special place to live. It’s going to be a long road but we can get there.
